Minnesota (MN) Parenting Time and Visitation

Parenting time has replaced the word visitation when referencing time spent between parents and their children. Coming to an agreement on a schedule for the children can be difficult especially when emotions run high during a divorce proceeding. Our goal as counselors is to come up with a plan that is in the best interests of your children. In an effort to structure time with the children without talking about who has “custody” Minnesota has implemented Parenting Plans. These are detailed agreements between the parents in lieu of a court order, as to how they want to share time with their children.
